- Every whey we sell under Rs. 10,000 is ranked below: 6 products, 7 pack sizes
You do not need to spend more than Rs. 10,000 (रु १० हजार) to buy a good whey protein in Nepal. Below is every whey protein we sell for under Rs. 10,000: 6 products in 7 pack sizes. Tubs that are out of stock today stay on the list, so this page is right as soon as they return.
Every product is a genuine one from a top brand. Peak X is an authorized distributor, and we do not stock cheap, low-quality or unverified whey. Prices differ between brands: some picks cost a little more per gram because they come from well-known international brands, and others are built for a tighter budget. Every figure comes straight from the product label, and prices update automatically.
How We Choose Whey Protein Under Rs. 10,000
How the ranking works: #1 is Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard in both of its sizes, our best overall pick, chosen for the strength and track record of the brand. Picks #2 to #6 are ranked by price per gram of protein, from the lowest cost to the highest, and the cost per gram is shown on every pick so you can compare for yourself.
A low price on the tub does not always mean good value, and a high number of servings does not always mean more protein. We list whey proteins from the genuine brands we stock and deliver across Nepal, and we look at three label facts:
Think about what matters most to you. If you want the lowest cost for each gram of protein, start from the top of the table. If you want a plain, unflavoured whey, pick the Raw Whey. If you want 25 g of protein in each scoop, look at Biozyme and Biozorb. And if you are also buying creatine, the Budget Stack (Fuel One Impact whey with Wellcore Creatine) puts both in one order.
Also look at the tub size. A bigger tub costs more today but usually lasts longer, so compare the cost per gram, not only the number on the price tag.
Where the label gives a serving size but not the number of servings, we work it out from the pack weight and mark it as “about”. The order was set using the prices on the day we last updated this page; the price per gram in each box is worked out live.
Whey Protein Types Explained
The word “whey” can mean different things on the label. Knowing the type helps you compare tubs fairly:
- Whey protein concentrate: the most common type. It is up to about 80% protein by weight, keeps a little more of the natural milk fat, carbohydrate and lactose, and usually costs less.
- Whey protein isolate: filtered further, so about 90% or more of the powder is protein, with less lactose, fat and carbohydrate. It usually costs more per tub.
- Whey blend: a mix of types, for example concentrate with isolate, whey peptides or plain whey powder.
- Whey with other proteins: some products add a non-whey protein such as yeast or soy protein. This is shown in the ingredients list, so read it before you buy.
Studies and reviews have found no clear evidence that one form works differently from the other in the body, so price per gram of protein and your own taste and digestion matter most. Source: Healthline, Whey Protein Isolate vs Concentrate (Grant Tinsley, PhD).
Each pick below shows its protein type, taken from the product page and label. Always check the ingredients list on your own tub, because makers can change their recipe.
Our Picks
6. MuscleBlaze Biozorb Performance Whey, 2 lb
25 g Protein With An Absorption Formula
Biozorb has 25 g of protein in every serving, with an enhanced absorption formula. It costs more per gram than Impact, Fuel One Whey, Raw Whey and Biozyme, so it suits you if you like this formula rather than the lowest cost.
MuscleBlaze Biozorb Performance Whey, 2 lb Specifications:
- Protein per serving: 25 g
- Servings per tub: 25
- Total protein per tub: 625 g
- Price and cost per gram: Rs 8,200 (about Rs 13.1 per gram of protein)
- Price per serving: about Rs 328 per serving
- Protein type: Whey protein concentrate with an Enhanced Absorption Formula
5. MuscleBlaze Biozyme Performance Whey, 1 kg
Whey With Digestive Enzymes
Biozyme gives you 25 g of protein and 5.51 g of BCAAs in every 36 g scoop, with the MB EnzymePro enzyme blend listed on the label (189 mg per serving). Its main ingredient is whey protein concentrate, at 86% of the powder.
A 1 kg tub has about 28 servings, so you get about 700 g of protein in total. The label says to drink the shake within 15 minutes of mixing, because of the enzymes. It costs more per gram than Impact, Fuel One Whey and Raw Whey, but less than Biozorb.
MuscleBlaze Biozyme Performance Whey, 1 kg Specifications:
- Protein per serving: 25 g
- Servings per tub: 28
- Total protein per tub: 700 g
- Price and cost per gram: Rs 8,200 – Rs 16,000 (about Rs 11.7 per gram of protein)
- Price per serving: about Rs 293 per serving
- Protein type: Whey protein concentrate (86%), with the MB EnzymePro enzyme blend
4. MuscleBlaze 100% Clean Raw Whey, 1 kg
Best Clean, Unflavoured Whey
A simple, plain option. Because it has no flavour, it works well in oats, smoothies or a plain shake, but if you like a sweet, flavoured shake you may need to add your own. It has 24 g of protein per 34 g serving.
One 34 g serving gives 24 g of protein, and a 1 kg tub gives about 29 servings, or about 696 g of protein in total. It costs a little more than Fuel One Impact, but you get more protein per scoop and a plain base you can flavour yourself.
MuscleBlaze 100% Clean Raw Whey, 1 kg Specifications:
- Protein per serving: 24 g
- Servings per tub: 29
- Total protein per tub: about 696 g
- Price and cost per gram: Rs 8,200 (about Rs 11.8 per gram of protein)
- Price per serving: about Rs 283 per serving
- Protein type: Whey protein concentrate, unflavoured
3. MuscleBlaze Fuel One Whey, 1 kg
Low-Cost Whey With 24 g Protein
A low-priced whey with 24 g of protein in every 39 g scoop and 5.29 g of BCAAs per serving, taken from the label. The label lists no added sugar, and cocoa powder gives it its flavour.
A 1 kg tub has 25 servings, so you get 600 g of protein in total. This tub is sometimes out of stock. It stays on this list so the page is right when it returns. Tap Ask on WhatsApp and we will tell you when it is back.
MuscleBlaze Fuel One Whey, 1 kg Specifications:
- Protein per serving: 24 g
- Servings per tub: 25
- Total protein per tub: 600 g
- Price and cost per gram: Rs 5,500 (about Rs 9.2 per gram of protein)
- Price per serving: about Rs 220 per serving
- Protein type: Whey protein concentrate with skimmed milk powder
2. MuscleBlaze Fuel One Impact Whey, 1 kg
Best Value
The lowest price per gram of protein in this guide, and the easiest pick to start with. The trade-off is a smaller tub and a 45 g scoop, so you mix a little more powder per shake than with the 31 to 36 g scoops of other tubs on this list. Each scoop gives 22.5 g of protein.
With 22.5 g of protein per 45 g scoop and 22 servings, a tub gives you 495 g of protein. That is why it comes out cheapest per gram. If you are new to whey, it is a low-risk way to try it before moving to a bigger tub.
MuscleBlaze Fuel One Impact Whey, 1 kg Specifications:
- Protein per serving: 22.5 g
- Servings per tub: 22
- Total protein per tub: 495 g
- Price and cost per gram: Rs 4,500 (about Rs 9.1 per gram of protein)
- Price per serving: about Rs 205 per serving
- Protein type: Whey blend (whey protein concentrate and whey powder), with added yeast protein
1. Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard 100% Whey (2 lb and 465 g)
Best Overall: The Most Trusted Brand
Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard is one of the most widely sold whey brands in the world, which is why it takes the top spot as our best overall pick, even though it does not have the lowest price per gram. It comes in two sizes on this list, and the 2 lb only just fits under Rs. 10,000, so check the live price before you order.
The 2 lb tub has 29 servings of 24 g protein (31 g scoop), about 696 g in total. The small 465 g pack has 15 servings, 360 g in total, and costs more per gram, so it suits you if you want to try the brand first. The label lists a blend of whey isolate, concentrate and hydrolysed isolate. If the lowest cost per gram is your goal, start with Fuel One Impact above.
2 lb pack Specifications:
- Protein per serving: 24 g
